Dangerous Decibels invites those persons interested in becoming a certified Dangerous Decibels educator to attend a 2-day training workshop, receive teaching materials and supplies, and become prepared to deliver the Dangerous Decibels program to youth and adults in your schools, worksites and communities.

Workshop registration is open to all persons interested in delivering this important hearing health program; including high/college school students, health and safety professionals, public health professionals, parents, nurses, physicians, teachers and audiologists/speech-language pathologists and other related fields.

Becoming a Dangerous Decibels certified educator provides a unique opportunity to make an impact in your schools, workplaces and communities. Dangerous Decibels was recently recognized in a World Health Organization publication “Make Listening Safe” and is globally renowned for its evidence-based classroom program shown to be effective at changing knowledge, attitudes and behaviors related to the prevention of noise-induced hearing loss and tinnitus. The program has also been awarded the Safe-in-Sound Innovation in Hearing Loss Prevention Award from the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health and the National Hearing Conservation Association.

Educator workshops are temporarily suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
We hope to resume workshops in mid to late 2021.
